Imaginariad x The PORTALS Experience

Making its global debut in Singapore, The PORTALS Experience transformed 13,000 sq ft into an immersive journey through the worlds of fantasy, science fiction and mythology. The exhibition brought together an extraordinary private collection of original artworks, rare novels and publications, and thousands of hand-painted miniatures, presented across eight distinct realms.

The idea was to transform this collection into a series of worlds visitors could physically step into and explore. From the monumental rings of the Central Archive and a hyperdrive-inspired Space Tunnel, to the submerged ruins of Atlantis, the landscapes of Mars and futuristic sci-fi environments, each realm gave the collection its own setting, atmosphere and story.

Built predominantly through handcrafted sets, scenic treatments, lighting and physical installations, the experience created larger-than-life environments while keeping the original artworks and collectables at the heart of the journey.
